BSC President Durante expressed his profound delight in the delegation’s accomplishments, emphasizing the importance of enjoying the experience and recognizing the broader impact of the College’s participation in ASCU-SN on the professional growth and development of its faculty and staff. He warmly commended the delegation for their hard work and dedication, showing his support by clapping from the sidelines and providing coaching assistance during various events.
This year’s Sports and Socio-Cultural Festival revolved around the theme ” : , ℎ,” which encapsulated the essence of the five-day event. The theme underscored the significance of embracing diverse cultural exchanges, fostering solidarity, and celebrating local heritage, all to nurture an academic environment where all members from Regions 1, 2, 3, and the Cordillera Administrative Region thrive.
Moreover, in a strategic effort to optimize the College’s resources, the dedicated members of the College Gender and Development Focal Point System who actively took part in the ASCU-SN 2024 engaged in a comprehensive benchmarking initiative with the acclaimed GAD best practices established at ISU. Dr. Jhamie Tetz I. Mateo, Cagayan Valley GAD Regional Director, and ISU GAD Director was pivotal in orchestrating and coordinating this significant activity.
