Batanes State College (BSC) celebrated its first-ever joint Department Days. This two-day event is on-going from November 13-14, 2025 and participated by all of the five (5) Departments of the College.

The opening ceremony was held at the BSC Amphitheater. The Director for Instruction, Ms. Michel A. Cabrera, delivered her opening remarks noting that this event will bring together the vibrant community of learners and educators into a day filled with camaraderie, intellectual growth, showcasing talents, and learning new things we don’t usually get inside the classroom. Followed by the Inspirational Message by the College President, Dr. Djovi R. Durante, thru College Vice President, Ms. Angelita H. Vargas, reminding us of the deeper purpose of education that is to inspire curiosity, to cultivate character to foster collaboration that transcends differences. Lastly, the presentation of the Department Chairs with their respective activities during the event.

The College Departmental Days is an annual academic event where students and faculty members can connect, share, and strengthen the sense of belonging within the department, while enjoying a refreshing break that promotes balance between academics and life.
