Batanes State College (BSC) warmly welcomed the distinguished guests, co-hosts and esteemed officials for the ISSAAS 2026, with a simple fellowship dinner.

Batanes, already known for its breathtaking beauty, became even more vibrant with the presence of these respected leaders from government offices and State Universities and Colleges in the Philippines.

The Board of Directors of International Society for Southeast Asian Agricultural Sciences (ISSAAS), headed by, Dr. Fernando C. Sanchez, Jr., President of ISSAAS Philippine Chapter and National President of the Philippine Association of Agriculturists (PAA), Dr. Simplicio Medina, Dr. Evalour Aspuria, Dr. Nina Cadiz, and Dr. Edna Aguilar.

Our supportive co-hosts – SUC Presidents, Dr. Elbert C. Edaniol, President, Occidental Mindoro State College (OMSC), and Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor, University President, Kalinga State University.

The esteemed plenary speakers, Dr. Jocelyn T. Zarate, Dr. Glenn B. Gregorio, and Dr. Romeo V. Labios, and Dr. Nelzo Ereful.

The honored guests, Dr. Angel B. Encarnacion, Regional Director, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, Hon. Isidro T. Cabaddu, Municipal Mayor, LGU Calamaniugan, Dr. Ronald Orpiano, VP for Research, Development, and Extension, Dr. Melchor P.
