The Batanes State College (BSC) solemnly conducted the hoisting of the national flag today, January 05, 2026. The ceremony was led by the College President, Dr. Djovi R. Durante, who warmly greeted the employees and extended his New Year and Three Kings’ Day wishes.

As BSC enters the new year, it embraces the opportunity to further strengthen and enhance its academic community. Guided by strong leadership and a shared vision, the institution remains focused on continuous improvement and excellence. The development of the institution begins with the growth and commitment of each individual within it. As emphasized in the speech of the College President, staff and faculty members are encouraged to set meaningful New Year’s resolution to improve oneself. Through dedication and hard work, these commitments will in turn contribute to measurable improvement across the College.

With unity and determination, the college sets full sail ahead toward achieving its mission and serving its academic community.
