Batanes State College (BSC) joyfully celebrated its 22nd Founding Anniversary today, 07 August 2026, at the BSC Amphitheater, with the theme: “22 Taon ng Karunungan, Paglilingkod, at Pagbabagong Humuhubog sa Bawat Henerasyon.”

The College celebrated its Anniversary through a Thanksgiving Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Ronaldo “Zenki” Manabat, offered in gratitude for God’s countless blessings upon the College and for all the individuals whose dedication and commitment have contributed to its growth, achievements, and continued success through the years.

Reflecting on the Gospel, Fr. Manabat shared a simple yet meaningful message through the acronym “BSC,” inspiring the academic community to embody the values that define the institution:
B – Beyond Ourselves
Let your education become a blessing to others.

S – Sacrifice
Do not be afraid of the cross that comes with pursuing what is good and true.

C – Choose What Counts/ Choose Christ
Seek not only success, but also character, service, faith, and a life filled with purpose.

As Batanes State College marks another milestone, may the entire academic community continue to grow in wisdom, excellence, compassion, and commitment to serving both God and the Ivatan people. May the values embodied in “BSC” continue to inspire every BSCian to become a catalyst of positive change and a beacon of hope for future generations.
