Batanes State College (BSC), ISSAAS 2026 host, welcomed the participants with the vibrant music and performances from the talented BSC Students.

From distant provinces, guests and participants journeyed to experience the breathtaking beauty of Batanes and the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversation on sustainability and agritourism.

After the registration, DA-BES, our co-host, showcased the “ivatan way” of farming to the participants, while also presenting the province’s key agricultural initiatives. The experience was brought to life through guided visits by the DA-BES officials to various production sites, allowing participants to witness the actual farming in Batanes.
