The Batanes State College (BSC) and Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) have officially inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), on July 22, 2025, marking the start of a five-year collaborative journey.
Representing BSC, College President Dr. Djovi R. Durante signed the MOU with ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes. Witnesses to this event included BSC Directors Daryl Alva B. Duguran, Director for Internationalization and External Linkages; Romina Katrina B. Bernardo, Director for Administrative and Finance Services; and from ASCOT, Dr. Antonio Bolivar III, Head of the Center for Indigenous People Studies (Casiguran Campus).
This partnership aims to boost academic and cultural exchange through joint efforts in education, research, and extension programs. The agreement will pave the way for a wide range of activities, including degree and non-degree training, collaborative research and extension projects, entrepreneurship programs, and exchanges for faculty, staff, and students. Both institutions will also participate in joint seminars, conferences, academic meetings, and the exchange of scientific publications and other related academic materials.
