Batanes State College, through its Industrial Technology (IT) Department, concluded its Stakeholders’ Consultation for the Proposed Bachelor of Industrial Technology Curriculum on November 06, 2025, at the BSC Conference Hall.
The IT Department conducted the consultation to align the new curriculum with CHED Memorandum Order No. 13, series of 2023, where they presented to the participants the revised curriculum.
“We are embarking on a significant evolution, moving away from the previous BSIT, which often prioritizes general science over the depth of specialization now required by new industry towards a new BIndTech framework that is more focused, specialized, and highly responsive to the technical shift of Industry 4.0,” says Vice President Vargas during the opening program.
