Batanes State College (BSC) came together in unity to celebrate World Teacher’s Day and releases health allowance amounting to PhP7,000.00 per faculty member and staff on October 03, 2025 at the Kadpidan beach in Ivana, Batanes.

BSC Supreme Student Council (SSC) held a program in celebration of World Teacher’s Day, a simple yet heartfelt tribute to honor and express gratitude to our esteemed BSC faculty and part-time instructors. An awarding and commendation ceremony was held in recognition of their exemplary contribution to the continuous development of BSC.

Afterward, the whole BSC family proceeded to Kadpidan beach in Ivana for a team luncheon, in celebration of World Teacher’s Day and as part of the team-building activity. During the event, faculty members of the different departments and part-time instructors showcased their talents through performances, there were games, raffle prizes and special gifts for the faculty members. We thank the sponsors for their support in this program: the Research Development Extension Training (RDET); and the Batanes State College Administrative Employees Union (BSCAEU).

The key highlight of the program was the distribution of Medical Health Allowance to all BSC faculty members and staff in accordance with DBM Budget Circular 2024-6 dated December 12, 2024.

This is to show appreciation for their work and to help ensure their health and well-being.

World Teacher’s Day is a celebration to all individuals who have the passion and invaluable contribution to younger generations, those who guide, inspire, and empower students. This celebration is to recognized the vital role of a teacher in shaping the future through education.
