Batanes State College is one of only two (2) Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Region 02 recognized by the Commission in Higher Education Region 02 for achieving 100% compliance with the CHED Regional Office 02 Management Information System (MIS) Data Requests for Calendar Year 2024, attributed to the successful submission of all thirty-three (33) required data sets.

This recognition is a testament to BSC’s dedication to timely and accurate data submission from the Scholarship Office, Finance Services, NSTP, and other relevant offices. A significant contributor to this success is the College Registrar’s Office, led by the Acting College Registrar, Asst. Prof. Vilma D. Baccay. Their efforts have been crucial in advancing data-driven decision-making and policy formulation in higher education.

Cagayan State University – Sanchez Mira Campus also received the said award.
