This morning, BSC employees inspected and cleaned their respective offices and affected campus areas to maintain a safe and conducive work environment despite their responsibilities at home.
Presently, the College Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, with the directors, is engaged in a comprehensive evaluation of the destruction caused by Typhoon Julian to the College’s buildings, amenities, and equipment and a detailed assessment of the impact on each building and facility, ensuring that the College is well-prepared for the subsequent recovery and restoration efforts.

BSC President Djovi Durante has directed the directors to verify their employees’ whereabouts within their purview, recognizing the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of all staff members. They are also tasked with ascertaining their employees’ conditions and providing unwavering support. He also recognized the employees who bravely secured and inspected the buildings and facilities during the onslaught of Typhoon Julian, acknowledging the immense challenges they faced while also worrying about their homes.

In addition, scheduled activities, including the Teacher’s Month Celebration Program, are deferred as the college anticipates requiring several weeks or even months before full restoration can be achieved.
