Batanes State College (BSC) proudly joined the celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, organized by the Provincial Government of Batanes, to honor and appreciate the inspiring women in the community.

The celebration began with a Holy Mass, where the community gathered to give thanks to the Divine Creator and recognize the invaluable contributions of women in our lives. This was followed by a parade around Basco, culminating in a program held in front of the Capitol. Participants proudly wore purple shirts, symbolizing support, respect, and solidarity for women everywhere.

BSC extends its heartfelt appreciation to all women who continue to inspire, lead, and uplift our communities. As we celebrate International Women’s Day, may we continue to foster respect for women, promote gender equality, and work together towards building a society where everyone is empowered and valued.
