Batanes State College (BSC) warmly welcomed Commissioner Myrna Q. Mallari, DBA, ASEAN CPA, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), during her visit to the institution for the Board of Trustees (BOT) Meeting and launching of the Transformative Smart Campus Development Project of BSC.

Comm. Mallari was courteously received by the BSC officials, employees, and students, whose heartfelt hospitality reflected the institution’s deep respect and admiration, as her presence brought prestige to the College.

During the BOT Meeting, BSC was deeply honored to receive numerous commendations from Comm. Mallari, in recognition of the institution’s remarkable milestone and accomplishments during the first quarter of the year.

She expressed high regard for the College’s steadfast commitment to excellence, particularly highlighting its innovative researches in agriculture and agri-tourism. These efforts play a vital role in promoting and sustaining local tourism and contribute to the advancement of knowledge and community growth.
