Batanes State College (BSC) headed by the College President, Dr. Djovi R. Durante, through its Planning Office held the continuation of the Annual Operational Planning FY 2025 of the Administrative Staff on December 22, 2025, to present the accomplishments and set strategic plan target for the next fiscal years.
The event is designed to assess institutional achievements and harmonize strategic priorities, reinforcing the “ACHIEVE” Agenda of the Commission on Higher Education, led by the Director for Administrative and Finance Services, Ms. Romina Katrina B. Bernardo. This reflected the College’s commitment to quality education, relevant research, and active community engagement, made possible through the collective efforts of BSC academic community.
A valuable discussion by the Pres. Durante, highlighting the application of the EISENHOWER Matrix – a productivity and time management tool in determining which tasks to prioritize, schedule, delegate, or eliminate. He encourages everyone to make self-assessment though this matrix to clearly identify urgent and non-urgent tasks, important and not important, improve prioritization, and manage their responsibilities more effectively.
The Director for College Business Affairs, Ms. Doreen Castillo, in her closing remarks, she underscored that the planning process serves as a living guide for action, firmly grounded in the institution’s collective vision to continuously strengthen systems and enhance the quality of work across daily operations, one step at a time.
