Batanes State College – Board of Trustees (BSC – BOT) conducted regular board meeting on November 25, 2025, at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Central Office, presided over by Commissioner Myrna Q. Mallari.

The board meeting focused on BSC’s strategic plans, updates, financial matters, and long-term policies crucial for improving the performance of the institution.

The following members were present during the meeting: the BOT chairperson, Comm. Myrna Q. Mallari, CHED Commissioner; Vice Chairperson and BSC President, Dr. Djovi R. Durante, Hon. Dionisio C. Ledres, Jr., Regional Director for DEPDev R02; Hon. Rose Mary G. Aquino, Executive Director, DA R02; Hon. Jude C. Acidre, Congress Chair for Committee on Higher and Technical Education, duly represented by Cong. Ciriaco B. Gato, Jr.; Hon. Loren B. Legarda, Senate Chair for Committee on Higher Technical Education, duly represented by Hon. Glyza Mae Valiente-Baldormar; Hon. Warlito M. Tomas, Jr., Faculty – Trustee; Hon. Kurt G. Hostallero, Alumni – Trustee; Hon. Alfred D. Baccay, Student- Trustee; and Hon. Julieta M. Paras, Regional Director for CHED R02.
