Batanes State College (BSC) employees and students gathered on September 10, 2025, in the amphitheater to participate in the Holy Mass in celebration of the Feast of St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina. The Holy Mass was presided over by Reverend Father Ronaldo “Zenki” B. Manabat, parish priest. During the mass, Fr. Zenki mentioned that the presence of St. Padre Pio here in Batanes serves two purposes: first, to remind us of the need for prayer, and second, to remind us of the need for compassion.

It was also a sacred and great opportunity for the employees and students to venerate the image of St. Padre Pio.
