In celebration of Pride Month 2026, Batanes State College (BSC), through its Gender and Development Focal Point System (GDFPS), successfully held the 2026 Run Loud, Run Proud: Color Fun Run today, 25 June 2026.

The streets of Basco came alive with vibrant colors as BSC faculty and staff, employees from various government agencies, and members of the community joined together in a celebration of diversity, inclusion, and equality. More than just a fun-filled activity, the Color Fun Run served as a meaningful reminder that every individual deserves respect, acceptance, and the freedom to live authentically.

BSC extends its heartfelt gratitude to our valued partners, the Local Government Unit of Basco, SK Municipal Federation of Basco, and Pride Batanes, for their invaluable collaboration in making this event a success.

We also sincerely acknowledge the support and assistance of the Bureau of Fire Protection – Batanes Provincial Office, Batanes Police Provincial Office, and Batanes General Hospital, whose commitment helped ensure the safety and successful conduct of the event.

As we celebrate Pride Month, may love, respect, kindness, and inclusivity continue to be the colors that unite us, embracing our differences and celebrating our shared humanity.
